Ideally, the sheets should enter
and leave the buckle straight in register to the guide. *The first fold can be crooked if the buckle sheet stopper is out of position or the roll is not balanced in pressure, which can be remedied by correcting the stopper position or balancing the roll pressure. This, however, still leaves the chances of the scoring line being crooked after parallel folding. After all, keeping the register guide square to the roll and letting the sheets run by it is the best way to accomplish folding and scoring uncrooked. |

![]() large size or thin stock should be piled as close to the register guide as practically possible. If the sheets are caught by the register guide because they are too close to it, move the pile a little apart from it. Use the scale as a guide for optimum position. |
