A. Check Points Before Entry of Sheet to Buckle
1.Check to see if the register guide is square to the roll.
Ideally, the sheets should enter and leave the buckle straight in register to the guide.

*The first fold can be crooked if the buckle sheet stopper is out of position or the roll is not balanced in pressure, which can be remedied by correcting the stopper position or balancing the roll pressure. This, however, still leaves the chances of the scoring line being crooked after parallel folding. After all, keeping the register guide square to the roll and letting the sheets run by it is the best way to accomplish folding and scoring uncrooked.
A:The rear end of sheet entering between rolls is seen apart from the tip of the register guide.
B:The rear end of sheet entering between rolls is seen too close to the trip of the register guide.
(Note)
In the case of parallel fold, a crooked first fold results in the second fold being crooked twice as much.
Even in the normal case shown above, the fold can still be crooked if the rolls are not balanced in pressure; the sheet is led into the buckle unevenly, with the side subjected to higher roll pressure entering deeper than the other.
The end of the piled stock must not be any more than 1 cm apart from the register guide. Otherwise, the sheets fair to run in register to the register guide. Especially,
large size or thin stock should be piled as close to the register guide as practically possible. If the sheets are caught by the register guide because they are too close to it, move the pile a little apart from it. Use the scale as a guide for optimum position.
Marble arrangement
Thick and oblong sheets - Use more marbles to increase weight than in the case of thin sheet, thereby keeping sheet in register to the guide.

*Thin sheet - If marble weight is too heavy, sheet is brought too close to the register guide. (See below)
